AJ Zelinski, DC, ART, Director

Dr. Zelinski graduated cum laude from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas, where he completed his Doctorate degree and internship in Chiropractic Medicine. He was inducted in the Omega Psi Honor Society after he graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Dr. Zelinski was an All-American gymnast in high school and college and was a four year cheerleader at the University of Texas. He has coached competitive gymnastics and cheerleading for 12 years. During this time he has served as the team physician for a number of gymnastics and cheerleading organizations. Dr Zelinski and his staff have been a common sight at many events in the Austin area. Dr. Zelinski is full body certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and has been a treating doctor at the Ironman World Triathlon Championships for several years. He has treated world class athletes from all over the country and while he specializes in triathletes, cyclists and runners, he has also treated PGA tour players, Olympic Weightlifters and weekend warriors in the Austin area. Dr. Zelinski is the only Biomechanics Certified doctor in the Central Texas area. He dedicates his practice to musculoskeletal and neurological disorders with an emphasis on sports injuries and pediatric sport related disorders. His hobbies include mountain biking, water sports and snowboarding.

Jeff Fluitt, DC, ART

Dr. Fluitt graduated from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology. He then earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Anatomy and his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. He also completed a post graduate Master's Certification in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He received the most in-depth, science-based training available today covering the entire spectrum from the physics of motor vehicle crashes to human biomechanics to diagnostics and management. Dr. Fluitt is full body certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and has extensive training in the care, prevention, and treatment of nerve, muscle and joint conditions. As a former college baseball player Dr. Fluitt understands the importance of the most effective and efficient treatment plans to improve quality of life for his patients. He treats people of all ages with wide range of conditions including: sports injuries, automobile accidents, work related injuries, chronic and acute pain. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting and fishing. He plays numerous sports including softball, basketball and golf.

Seth Wagenblast, DC, ART

Dr. Wagenblast graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minor in Environmental Studies. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Western State Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. His professional experience as a chiropractor began at Team Quest Fight Club, where he treated ultimate fighters, in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Wagenblast also worked with Prosport, a chiropractic group that treats rodeo cowboys. Dr. Wagenblast is full body certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and McKenzie's Medical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). His comprehensive clinical experience is focused on musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, sports injuries and spinal disorders. Dr. Wagenblast is frequently hosting injury clinics in Georgetown on Saturday mornings and Wednesday nights at Wiliamson County Park. He also enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include: swimming, hiking, snowboarding, camping and SCUBA.

Richard Miller, DC, ART

Dr. Miller was born and raised in New Jersey. There he attended undergraduate school while working as a physical therapy technician and a personal trainer. He then ventured to the great state of Texas to attend Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas where he received his Bachelors degree in Health and Wellness along with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. After being licensed to practice chiropractic in the state of Texas, Dr. Miller worked as a full time associate at a Sports Therapy Chiropractic clinic to gain experience and sharpen his clinical skills. In September of 2008 Dr. Miller was awarded a clinic coordinator position in San Antonio, Texas where he was able to grow as a clinician.

Dr. Miller is full body certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and McKenzie’s mechanical diagnostic and therapy (MDT). While in San Antonio Dr. Miller was one of the treating doctors at the rock n roll marathon while also helping out the track and field team at the University of Incarnate Word. Dr. Miller’s clinical experience is focused on musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, spinal disorders and sports injuries.

Not only is Dr. Miller a veteran Doctor, he is also a competitive triathlete, endurance cyclist and runner for the past 12 years and this past year has also been doing crossfit. William Carter, DC, ART

Dr. Carter joined Advanced Rehabilitation’s Discovery Blvd. office in Cedar Park in August 2009. Dr. Carter comes to us from White Bear Lake, Minnesota where he has provided care to professional and recreational athletes alike.

Dr. Carter earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Dr. Carter is full body certified in Active Release Technique (ART), a board eligible Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner, and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. His love and background for the game of lacrosse landed him the position as team chiropractor for the Minnesota Swarm professional lacrosse team. Additionally, he has been a treating doctor at sporting events such as the Ironman Triathlon in Madison, Wisconsin and the St. Paul Triathlon and other numerous running and multisport events.

In May 2009, the White Bear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce voted Dr. Carter "Business Person of the Year". He is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Minnesota Chiropractic Association, White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce - Board of Directors, and White Bear Lake Lacrosse Association.

Dr. Carter is honored to bring his skills and experience to the Austin area. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing golf, basketball and lacrosse.

Dr. Phil Davis, DPT - Director of Physical Therapy

Dr. Davis joined us in February of 2009 as our physical therapy director. He began his career in the U.S. Navy in 1997. He spent 6 years on active duty and 2 years in the Naval Reserve, during which time treated military members and their families, but excelled at rehabilitating high level athletes and Navy SEALs. His passion for sports rehabilitation lead him to be selected as the head of athletic training and rehabilitation for the Navy and Armed Forces volleyball teams. After completing his military service, Dr. Davis returned to school at the University of Southern California to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

Dr. Davis is an expert in movement analysis, and has studied human running and walking gait extensively. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Since moving to Austin in 2007, Dr. Davis has developed a zeal for triathlon training, completing his first full season in 2009, with races ranging from sprint to half-ironman distances. Outside of work and training, he enjoys spending time with his dog on Townlake and Auditorium Shores, as well as trying new restaurants.

Ashley DeBoise, MPT

Ashley grew up in a suburb on the Southwest side of Houston. She moved to Austin in 1998 to attend the University of Texas and has resided here ever since. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 2002, she went on to receive her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas State, formerly known as Southwest Texas.

Since graduating, Ashley has treated a myriad of patients with varying orthopedic and neurological deficits. Ashley found her passion amongst the outpatient orthopedic population. She began studying the McKenzie method in 2005 and over the last two years has had the opportunity to work side by side with both staff from the McKenzie Institute as well as with renowned McKenzie Diplomats. Ashley is now a certified McKenzie therapist who takes a mechanical approach to diagnosing and treating various spinal and peripheral joint impairments. The McKenzie method is most commonly used to treat spinal disc bulges and radicular symptoms. Ashley is also proficient in treating post operative patients as well as sports related overuse injuries.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys training for local races and triathlons. Her athleticism also spans to the slopes where she loves to snowboard. Ashley and her husband Doug spend several weeks a year volunteering in Africa where they contribute to the medical growth and education of local people.

Lauren Green, DPT

Lauren joined Advanced Rehabilitation’s Anderson Lane Clinic in August of 2009. Born and raised in Tennessee Lauren was active in basketball and softball. She attended The Ohio State University to receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics in 1992 while working in the insurance industry. Drawn to Washington State by her love for the outdoors and the mountains, she enjoyed snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking while working at a renowned cancer research center. Lauren decided to pursue higher education and obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2002. In Arizona, she was active in hiking, rock climbing, African and Latin dance. Her curiosity drew her to Texas where she has been active with running and multi-sport exercise. Lauren’s primary interest is outpatient orthopedic. Her other interests include travel, food and nutrition, strength training, wellness and prevention.

Brenda Walding, DPT

Brenda Walding is originally from Norman, Oklahoma and moved to Texas in 1999 to attend Texas Christian University on a soccer scholarship. She received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Movement Science, as well as All-Conference honors in soccer. After graduating from TCU, she moved to Abilene, Texas where she completed her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Hardin-Simmons University. It is here where she met her husband who is also a physical therapist.

Brenda and her husband moved to Austin, where she began practicing physical therapy in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Brenda is currently studying the McKenzie method of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of the spine and extremities. She enjoys treating athletes, as well as people of all ages with a wide scope of injuries. She is also very passionate about nutrition and feels strongly about the importance of consuming healing, nutrient-dense whole foods. In her free time, she loves to practice yoga, work out/play sports, read, visit the farmer’s market, eat delicious, healing foods and spend time with her family and friends.

Devlin Gantt, PTA

Devlin graduated from Austin Community College with an Associates degree in Allied Health. Devlin has developed his manual therapy over the years of training with expert clinicians that mentored his skills. His professional experience as a physical therapist assistant is specialized in outpatient sports medicine. Devlin was born here in Austin and his interest are in manual and sports therapy, staying fit, and playing with his wife and three daughters

Holly Crabtree, PTA

Holly is originally from Victoria Texas. She moved to Bryan College Station to attend the Blinn College Physical Therapist Assistant Program. Holly has since graduated with her Associates Degree in Applied Science and now resides in South Austin. She has had the privilege of training, with a great mentor, in various therapeutic settings where she has learned the fundamentals of Physical Therapy and found her true passion in Sports and Orthopedic Therapy. She enjoys various outdoor activities such as camping, rock climbing, and running. She also enjoys reading in her spare time.
